SeeAbility’s Eye Care Information and Advice Service We are passionate about supporting you to give the best eye care to everyone with a learning disability and/or autism. We provide a wide range of Easy Read factsheets on eye care that you can share with your patients- from ‘getting new glasses’ to ‘how to use eye drops’ to ‘having a cataract operation’. They are all free to download from our website. You can also download our 2 popular forms to support a successful eye test: About me and my eyes – save time and get better history and symptom information by sharing this form when an appointment is arranged, to enable your patients to prepare ahead so you can use valuable chair time clinically. Results of my eye test – so that your clinical findings are understood by a person with a learning disability and everyone supporting them.
